As on Thursday June 24, a LED fixture was noticed hanging on an electricity pole along the road near village panchayat of Bandora, Ponda.
Linesmen normally work through the village panchayats, however, in above case, neither the linesmen nor the elected representatives of this particular VP show interest in rectifying the said defect.
Travellers and pedestrians are bound to suffer during the night due to lack of illumination on the road. Streetlight fixtures need to serve their basic purpose on a permanent basis.
Hence it is absolutely necessary that the hanging LED fixture is re-fixed in its original position so that public at large receive illumination on the road.
Let us hope that the above error would be rectified at once in public interest.
