The roads leading to newly built Tar bridge road from Moira junction via Flyover Bridge are in pathetic condition. Same with the road from Alankar theatre via Milagres Cemetery. On the other hand road from Aldona taxi stand via old Asilo Hospital which were jetpatched recently, driving on it has become uneven and rumbly.
No potholes will be seen on roads --- was a Government mantra with the promise that the above roads would be hot mixed before Ganesh Chaturthi. It likely persume that the Government has no money to give to the public accident free roads! Recently therefore govt had brought jetpatching machine and put it on the job. The progress in repair of roads should have been be monitored by the PWD Minister.
Apart, if the Mapusa constituency was represented by Congress there would have been big noise on the subject.
The bridge was finally built but the roads on either side of the bridge are not motorable. So, where is the much talked of mission to transform Mapusa City?
