Rooting out corruption now just a slogan

This is with reference to the editorial 'Fighting corruption in Goa...' The Goan Everyday, December 15, 2021. It seems like the fight against corruption is going to be a never ending fight. We wonder whether her home state is free of corruption. The Editorial has put it rightly with the statement, it's like, the pot calling the kettle black. As the Editorial says, Mamata Banerjee has no idea how she's going to root out corruption. Politicians have so far failed to do that for so many years. Rooting out corruption has become just a slogan! What we need is real action. What we need is sincerity, loyalty. And this change can only come from within. Politicians jumping from one party to another has to stop. At least part of the battle against corruption can then be won!
