Sad state of PSUs does not augur well for the country

Today, most of the PSUs have continued to incur losses.The government should expedite the process of disinvestment and save the ailingPSUs from further losses. Successive government negligence to monitor theworking of the ailing PSUs has resulted in these becoming white elephantsserving neither social nor economic cause. Gone are the days of the Nehruvianeuphoria for creating PSUs with their commanding heights. The sad state of thePSUs does not augur well for the country and its economy. The hardest part about solving a problem is identifyingit. Once the problem is identified then it can be solved.
