A non-Marathi family beat up the family members of a Marathi man in Kalyan town of Thane district. In the past too many disputes between non -Marathi and Marathi people have arisen in the state. Some senior leaders of the Mahayuti have now warned that the oppression of Marathi people will not be tolerated anymore. It is doubtful how much this warning will actually be implemented. Because, the senior Marathi leaders of Mahayuti in the state have become puppets in the hands of the central government. Whenever the central leaders admonish Mahayuti leaders, leaders in the state start trembling. The Marathi leaders of Mahayuti in Maharashtra are themselves under pressure of the non-Marathi leadership in the central government. Such leaders are talking about safeguarding the interest of Marathi people in the state. This is a political joke.
