The TCP Minister Vishwajit Rane has given clear instructions to the TCP officials to act upon violations of illegal constructions taking place around the state of Goa. Destruction of the fields and hills has been at a rapid space. All authorities are sitting complacent and the culprits are allowed to destroy the environment under the development flagship of the government in power. On the Guirim-Soccoro highway road on both the sides are fields which have been left barren and are leased for setting up scrap centres one is near the Hindustan Petroleum pump. How can the Hindustan Petroleum officials allow this as on the other side of the road there is another scrap yard. Scrap yards in the fields/petrol pumps/residential should not be allowed at any cost because of safety and fire. Will the authorities act before we see another garbage fire at scrap yards?
