Security breach exposes Parliament's vulnerability

The scenes played out in the Lok Sabha chamber recently, when two intruders jumped from desk to desk and deployed coloured smoke from canisters were shocking. And their co-accused staging a similar protest outside the Parliament.  This security breach is a serious security lapse which cannot be underestimated.  It also exposes the vulnerability to a terrorist who might smuggle in an explosive or a toxic chemical and the inability of agencies to wisen up to ever-evolving threats. They have told investigators that their objective was to draw attention to Manipur violence, unemployment and farmers' problems. The biggest issue in the country is that of unemployment, which is boiling in the country. After the span of 22 years, a major breach once again taking place at the Parliament House.  Security agencies need to prepared for every challenge.
