Shacks are destroying our beach fronts

There was a time when Goa used to get an inflow of good tourists. It was a joy to visit the beaches and spend time with the family. All that has changed. The situation is getting ugly by the day.

The entire stretch has been lined up with shacks. They have ruined the place. The music is distorted and jarring with each Shack trying to out do the other. This is driving away good tourists. It is so noisy that you can’t have a peaceful walk on the beach. The beach recliners cover the entire beach leaving a small stretch for people to walk. It’s like an obstacle course.

I wonder what the levels of sanitisation are? Where is the garbage being dumped? where does the sewage waste empty? Shacks have destroyed the beaches. It has only led to hooliganism and other vices on the beaches.
