In the demise of 55-year-old Sidharth Karapurkar, Goa has lost a committed activist who was closely associated with crusades one too many to rescue Goa from further destruction. He was rightly very concerned about the mushrooming mega housing complexes in the State without proper infrastructure being in place. It is very unfortunate that a dedicated activist has departed at a time when the government has embarked full throttle in destroying of what remains of Goa. The only consolation is that Sidharth has moved to a better world leaving behind a rich legacy of bravely campaigning for the common good which hopefully will continue and achieve the favourable outcomes he so desired. May our dear friend's departed soul rest in eternal peace.
