Hospitals are so ill-equipped that there are not only shortages of vaccines, oxygen, ventilators, beds, overworked medical staff, but also not equipped to tackle a fire which kills doctors and patients! The PM and Home Minister have spent almost every alternate day in huge rallies and road shows for almost a month, ignoring Covid and our health infrastructure, using all resources to win elections, but are out of their depth in tackling this major crisis. Ask the hapless patients running from pillar to post and helplessly watch their loved ones dying and trying to cremate/bury them with dignity! Why cannot the Centre rush supplies where needed but require the Court directions to pull up their socks and act with dispatch? Why not free vaccinations for everyone with no confusion of public/private, no different procedures and prices? The PM Cares fund and all funds must on priority basis be used to fix this serious problem. It is a shame that the Serum CEO had to take shelter in the UK at this critical juncture due to vested interests wanting priority with regard to vaccines at any cost, like VIPs are so used to!
