I recently saw an electrician climbing a pole near Alfran Plaza to fix a broken wire. He didn’t have any safety gear or good tools, and his ladder wasn’t long enough. Still, he seemed determined to show off his skills in our ‘Smart’ City.
Many of us watching were curious but worried about him trying to fix the wires. There were so many of them on the pole. Some people warned him, but he seemed set on proving himself in our ‘Smart’ City.
In the end, he couldn’t fix the wires because they were all tangled. He had to come down without getting it sorted.
We advised him not to try fixing it again in Panaji’s Smart City because he could get hurt. Hopefully, he’s learned his lesson and will be safer next time.
