During rainy season, cases of water stagnated over the road are quite common at different locations in the state. Whenever vehicles, especially cars and buses, proceed along such areas, rain water gets splashed over the pedestrians.
It confronts them with great inconvenience in the process. Vehicle riders seldom exhibit any consideration for people walking their way along the main road.
During the recent rains, water was noticed stagnated on the road in the vicinity of Sawaikar hospital at Varkhandem in Ponda. The concerned authorities should equip themselves with the arrangement of clearing the stagnated water over the road at different locations.
With the rainy season round the corner, let us hope that the authorities would make arrangement of suitable pumps for above purpose so that necessary relief is assured to pedestrians at large.
