The dumping of dead bodies, half-decomposed, allegedly floating from Uttar Pradesh towards Bihar, exposes the dark, inhuman side of Indian society.
Of course, the blame game comes into play here as well, with the Bihar government blaming the UP government of dumping the corpses into the Ganges.
The Centre had now to intervene and advise both UP & Bihar to stop dumping dead bodies into the river and a dignified cremation is carried out on their own premises.
Come to think of it, how is it that one could commit such a disgusting act in the first place? It is only when one loses his own that one understands the pain of a lifeless body.
One only hopes that good sense prevails and such inhuman acts are not repeated. Covid has already dealt a crippling blow to humanity. Let's not add to the misery.
