However, when the CM makes such statements, the people of Goa have to worry as he tends to speak in the opposite manner.
CM Sawant is not a rain god to give guaranteed statements about the progress of the work.
Even the PWD Minister Nilesh Cabral and the officer in charge of smart city work were silent when asked by the media whether Panaji city will face flooding.
Public taxpayers’ money should not be wasted by working in the rainy season, which will make the work substandard.
