The sudden rain exposed the work of the 'over' smart city Panaji. The newly built footpath pavers have caved in due to loose soil. The roads were waterlogged and the people were literally wading in the city. Every day people of Panaji are facing problems on the roads as the vehicles' tyres get struck on the roads and this is a death trap for the public. It's a total waste of public money and due to poor quality of work the Ponjekars will be suffering in future. All the various departments will dig the roads and footpaths again and again for the maintenance work of water pipelines, electricity cables etc and the common man's safety will be at risk. In the name of development, public taxpayers money are looted by the contactors, ministers and government department officers. The BJP government should stop the 'over' smart City work and do the work of road maintenance where it is really required in the state of Goa.
