Tackle garbage problem in Chandor

Of late, the problem of garbage seems to be going out of hand in the once pristine village of Chandor.

Garbage filled bags are often seen thrown particularly near the telephone exchange and the Chandor church circle in the village. Also residents who keep their garbage bags outside their houses are left uncollected for days together. This in turn attracts stray dogs and cattle that create a nuisance and scatter the garbage everywhere.

The panchayat authorities need to put in extra manpower to clear the garbage on a daily basis from each ward. Also a strict watch needs to be kept on people who fling their garbage bags near the telephone exchange and the Chandor church circle.

Hope the authorities take note of this problem and act as quickly as possible so that our Chandor can have the clean look once again.
