At many places in Margao, roads have been tarred and re-tarred on several occasions with no proper slope being given to the peripheries or towards the drains. As a result, there is a steep vertical drop akin to a step at the ends.
Vehicles either driving by or parking often overshoot the edge and meet with minor accidents, particularly at night. The PWD should follow proper methodology to resurface roads in order to avoid mishaps.
