Uncovered drain endangering lives on busy Mapusa road

Uncovered drain endangering lives on busy Mapusa road

The PWD (R) has neglected to restore the misplaced slab on the busy road at Mapusa slope near Hotel Manjunath. This could be very dangerous for pedestrians and other vehicle users of the road if they move towards the side of the main road and hit the misplaced slab. The bike rider or driver could be a casualty, which may lead to a serious accident. Will the Mapusa Municiapal Council or the PWD (R) urgently relocate the fallen slabs in the drain?

The PWD should follow proper methodology to resurface roads in order to avoid mishaps.
