Tawadkar leading in efforts to develop Canacona

We all know, the Member of Legislative Assembly is a public representative at the State Level, who  represents his constituency in the Legislative Assembly of the State, but how many can we identified having such principles 'of the people, by the people and for the people' in today's era - where an MLA speaks about development before election and later is commited to deliver.

The gentleman of the moment for the Canconkars is one and only Ramesh Tawadkar! We also believe that a good captain is great, only if he has a great team. "Team Canacona" has vibrant CMC Chairperson Rama Gaonkar and other esteemed representatives standing shoulder to shoulder with one Vision, one Goal - "let's serve to make Canacona the Icon of Goa in all fields of life".The first demand to the Union Minister for Railways, Ashwini Vaishnaw to immediately begin ‘halts’ of two long-distance trains at Canacona Railway Station were instantly assured with third train halt in the near future - what a relief, when you are traveling from distance and cannot alight at your own station.

Not only this, It was back to back heartfelt efforts from the Speaker and the delegation who met Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and requested him to expedite the construction of the 4-lane NH66 highway between Char-Rasta in Canacona and Bendurdem in Quepem and other road works issues, including installation of a welcoming statue of Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj - All was quickly learnt and assured full support, what a feat - Canacona has always been traditionally best and deserving!

Let me conclude with quotes from Mahatma Gandhiji, "The future of India lies in its villages" and  “An ideal Indian village will be so constructed as to lend itself to perfect sanitation" - very true!
