Many eyebrows have risen with Luizinho Falerio's sudden decision of leaving Congress and his planned foray into TMC for betterment of Goans at large.
Trinamool is a political party which is predominantly active in West Bengal. Have we forgotten the results in 2017 election, where AAP lost their deposits in 38 seats out of 39 seats? Goans have a mindset of Goa for Goans, and it was hard for them to embrace a Delhi political party and TMC may suffer the same fate.
Many Goans must have been proud of until now, having served INC with widespread roots. Luizinho says he is not leaving Congress, unless all Congress offshoots merge with INC and become one unit named "All India United Congress".
Goans may be honest and loving, but will not buy Luizinho's statements even in sentiment.
The political battle field in Goa has become quite confusing and challenging with more than required football teams have enrolled in a small State tournament. We can only wait for the results.
