It's election time, and well therefore some think it's time to shift loyalties, go party hopping, etc, a time to change one's ideologies. MLAs from the ruling party jumping over to the opposition and others from the opposition switching over to the ruling party. Yes, it's a terrible dance of democracy!
Do those from the ruling party sense that the boat is sinking and they need to sail in safe waters? Anyway, such things should not be surprising because this is now the 'in thing' in politics. If not before elections then after the elections, they will always look for greener pastures.
In the meanwhile, all those who have been hopping from one party to another, turncoats as they are called, need to understand one thing that when their usefulness to the party is over, they are bound to be sidelined in the party they hopped to. The waters would surely turn choppy and then it depends how skillful they would be, to survive the storm.
