PANAJI
Manipal Hospitals (Goa) organised a vaccination drive, where teenagers of age group 15-18 years were given the first dose of vaccination. The vaccination was held from 2-4 pm and was available to all those who registered on the COWIN portal as well as those who availed the walk-in registration option. As the government has allowed the Covaxin vaccine shots for teenagers the hospital carried out the exercise at the dedicated paediatrics area. Dr Nathaniel Pinto, consultant paediatrics and neonatology at Manipal Hospitals stated, “Everyone should make it a point to get themselves as well as get their children (15-18 years) vaccinated against Covid-19, as this is our only hope of ending the pandemic once and for all.
