This is with reference to the report, "Drunk tourists assault police in Calangute - The Goan Everyday - October 14, 2025." This is certainly very disturbing news. Goa is indeed a tourist paradise but unruly tourists are turning it into hell. This instance of two Jaipur tourists creating a drunken ruckus in Calangute, assaulting police personnel is cause for concern and must be taken up seriously. Tourists anywhere must respect the land where they set foot. They must understand their responsibility or else face the wrath of the law. These same tourists wouldn't dare to resort to such behaviour in western countries, would they? This quote says it all: Wherever you go, go with all your heart, but also with respect for the place and its people.
