Unsafe parking by KTC bus in Siolim

The Kadamba Transport Corporation urgently needs to conduct refresher courses for its bus drivers, focusing on safe driving practices and adherence to traffic rules.

A recent incident highlights this need: a KTC bus parked opposite St Francis Xavier's High School in Siolim, dangerously obstructing the view for drivers exiting the Radha Park housing colony onto the busy MDR-10 road.

This careless parking is a serious safety hazard and could easily lead to accidents, especially given the high speed of vehicles”many driven by tourists unfamiliar with the area”who may not even realize there's a side road there.

Will the Director of the Kadamba Transport Corporation take notice of this issue? I recall a recent report where a KTC driver asked students to push a stalled bus. Incidents like these raise concerns about training, responsibility, and passenger safety. Let’s hope this isn’t another example of the same neglect.
