Vasco has not seen any development

In the last few weeks, Goa witnessed a lot of political action given the fast-approaching elections. Vasco saw Krishna -- popularly known as Daji Salkar -- making BJP entry along with his supporters. His entry into the BJP fold came after a long wait. He contested as an independent in the 2017 elections. He was always patient after being denied ticket by the BJP. He was keeping unwell for the last one year after suffering a stroke. Vasco has seen less development during Carlos Almeida’s tenure. The KTC bus stand and fish market are major issues still pending. Work on the new bus stand started six years back but has not moved further. The existing bus stand is not in a good state. In this election, Vascoites will be eager to see a leader who will take up development works in all seriousness. They are looking forward to seeing a new fish market, bus stand and good roads 365 days a year. Hope the coming elections will see issue-based voting and not on individuals contesting.
