War on drugs likely to fizzle out like fireworks

The Hyderabad Police have openly  accused the Goa police of patronising the illegal activities of all the drug gangsters/dealers/suppliers and for giving them full protection in all the coastal belts of the state to fill their own pockets in Goa. Of course, the Goa police after coming under fire have now suddenly started raiding a few rave parties and arresting a few people in possession of drugs to somehow show that they are very much serious in eradicating the menace of drugs in Goa.

Well, the whole world knows that the drugs trade is going on for years in all the coastal belts with the full backing of our own elected local politicians and the cops from the anti-narcotics cell in Goa.  I therefore personally feel that the ongoing arrests/raids of our Goa police on drug dealers/suppliers, rave parties etc will temporarily go on for a while in the state and slowly fizzle out like those fireworks sparklers  in Goa. Yes, the show of drugs will continue to go on forever in the state, no matter how many innocent people go to lose their lives due to the consumption of drugs or drug overdose even in the future.
