We need to stop politicians from auctioning our State

Our ruling politicians will be heard giving big speeches on Liberation day i.e. December 19 from different platforms and entertaining Goans by talking about the so-called 'great-achievements' of their double-engine 'sarkar'. Well, the only people who are practically seen enjoying the real benefits of liberation in the state today are politicians, neighbouring 'bhumiputras', property-dealers, land grabbers, owners of all the casino ships, drug dealers, those running liquor outlets/dance bars.  Otherwise, why are Goans seen leaving this state along with their families today in large numbers and migrating to some foreign countries for employment & not staying back home? Of course, our respective governments, politicians may have brought in different projects, constructed many four lane roads, fancy bridges and flyovers everywhere since liberation but all this has been done not for the benefit of Goans but to bring in hordes of outsiders and slowly build their own vote bank in Goa. I therefore feel that if we Goans really want to call ourselves liberated then we need to stop politicians, especially from the ruling side from auctioning this state to all the neighbouring outsiders.
