We should be blamed for electing same candidates

In schools and colleges there are 3 types of students - studious, fun loving ones, and the ‘bindaas’ types who become busy bees and study just a month or two before any exams. Similarly, politicians are of 3 kinds those who serve the people since the time they come to power and 2nd types infrequently carry out some welfare measures to remain in the limelight and remind their voters of their existence. But the 3rd type of politicians takes the cake and cherry.  

Although we expect the 3rd type of students to fail but surprisingly, they sometimes become rank holders. Similarly, the 3rd kind of politicians win the elections despite their failings over the years and carrot-dangling methods. They have turned these into an art form. We have to be blamed for not seeing through their games and keep voting (for whatsoever the reasons) for the same undeserving candidates. And once a party comes in power we complain and huff and puff that we have nincompoops ruling us and rue the day we cast our vote. But by then it is too late to reverse the clock and we suffer for the next 5 years, ad infinitium and ad nauseum.

Task force is abdicating responsibility

The DoE and the Task Force have passed on total responsibility for the safety and well being of students, to the school heads. Schools must individually decide on offline, online mode and SOPs? When this Govt decides for all what not to eat or gamble? The Health Dept takes full responsibility to monitor de-worming tablet administration but not life threatening Sars CoV2 control?
