“Go Goa Gone” seems to be a reality nowadays, taking into consideration the several atrocities looming over our beautiful state, Goa. Wonderfully known as the “Rome of the East,” Goa has always been adored for its distinctive culture, cuisine, and hospitality. Moreover, the season is advancing, and soon it will be at its peak next month.
A sad reality, though, is that major accidents are still trending every day due to intoxication, while on the other side, drug dealings are secretly pre-planned for the rave parties. Furthermore, eco-biodiversity is harmed, as in the case of sand dunes destruction, while illegal scrap yards are on the rise in the vicinity.
Sadly, a few days back, schools were looted by miscreants, while currently on Google, the name of the most famed beach, “Miramar,” is maliciously distorted as “Bighdi-Balam.” Where is Goa heading? Currently, the image of our lovely Goa is getting blurrier day by day, seeing all these pathetic scenarios. Eventually, tourists seek a friendly atmosphere pertaining to their security, but such types of atrocities will definitely impact the tourism industry of Goa.
