On November 11, an SUV bearing Haryana registration rammed into house cum reception of a hotel owned by Remediana Albuquerque, 54 yrs killing her on the spot. As per the report, the driver of the SUV came to meet his friend but under the influence of alcohol rammed into her resort reception at high speed. Though driver is arrested under culpable homicide not amounting to murder but the life is lost of innocent lady . The locals gathered at Vagator police station demanding action into such incidents of driving under the influence of drugs, alcohol. After the Banastari bridge accident this is another such incident of innocent life lost. Today Goa has become a hub for night parties, pub dances with loud music and drugs . There should be total ban on drugs and alcohol and the focus should be on natural beauties, sand, beaches and temples, churches of Goa. Goa once known for beach and sand has become famous for drugs and alcohol. With more bars and restaurants at beaches and shacks, it has given rise to incidents of fights, drink and driving and speeding. There must be complete investigation into these incidents and fatalities.
