Will this be the end of public transport services in Goa?

The Goa government has now reportedly decided to take over all the private buses operating across various routes in the State and bring them under the ambit of Kadamba Transport Corporation Limited under the guise of improving the public transport services in Goa & in a bid to make the KTCL a profitable unit. Sounds like a good decision but will it really work? I really doubt. Well, that's because today everyone knows for sure what good services the KTCL have been providing for people using their bus services since the last so many years in Goa.  In fact, the KTCL have been causing most road accidents in the state, refusing to carry out day-to-day maintenance of their handful of buses from time-to-time, and then finally complaining of running into huge losses in Goa.

I therefore personally feel that the government wants to finish the public transport services in the state completely by finally taking over all the buses of our private bus operators on flimsy excuses and gifting them to the Kadamba Transport Corporation Limited to somehow force people to buy their own four/two wheeler vehicles for their convenience in future and to make our roads more congested.
