Fortunately, Benaulim constituency elected Capt Venzy Viegas to bring about the much-needed change. The deadwood of the past is history and the constituency is seeing a new dawn with rays of hope assured by the new MLA.
Despite his limited resources being out of the ruling dispensation, his energy seems boundless as he is firing from all cylinders meeting people, listening to their woes and getting involved in the many issues that could be disastrous for the villagers in the future.
Being an educated leader, he could be well growing to be a great administrator as he has skills to understand the problems and the acumen to get to the root of the matter and sort out the issues with solutions.
For him ‘Yes is Yes and No is No’ and he does not encourage putting people to fight against each other. He is meeting the farmers, fishermen, teachers and students, businessmen and senior citizens which is his great strength for progress.
This is just the beginning of a new era for his constituency and doing as much as he can do, the new MLA will be able to start the process for the people which will culminate to creating a great Benaulim constituency.
