The Portuguese traces (essence) thriving in Goa solely because of Goa’s Portuguese history and influence of western culture which has become deep rooted in 450 years of colonial rule. Likely, it is easy to listen but hard to achieve, and efforts made to change the name of Goa into hindutva pronouncement and talk of building temples will never brush off 450 years of Portuguese essence which have left indelible footprint in Goa.

Instead of harping again on unnecessary issues which are not beneficial, it will be better if Sawant government wipes out the illegal menace of drugs which is damaging our youth’s future and bringing poverty among families.
