The Assembly polls to the Legislative Assembly, 2027 is barely four months away and many contenders are jostling for an opportunity to be named as candidates so that they may be elected, but if their true intent is to work selflessly for the betterment of the people of Goa, then they should emulate missionaries. We have noticed that Goa needs to benefit in many ways so that the environment is protected, the eco-system is tended to with care and all efforts are directed in order that all the people of Goa are benefited. Several works can be achieved with missionary zeal whose sole intent is the betterment of the people. In the fitness of things as the Opposition are disunited, it would be to the benefit of the people of Goa if all the Opposition parties join together and sink their narrow differences and form a united front. The Congress, AAP, GFP and the Revolutionary Goans should selflessly be ready to forgo their candidatures separately and fight for the unity of the Opposition so that Goa gets a new government that will work for the betterment of all the Goans.
