As a long time observer of Goan politics, in my view there is no way that BJP can be in power in Goa unless the Opposition (Congress party particularly) does not rise above personal ambitions. I see a fight for power within the top Congress leadership particularly, which is more selfish versus the interests in Goa; and the BJP party appears to be victorious seeing all of this in-fighting. I demand that the Congress party focus on dismantling the BJP in power by collaborating with key opposition parties in the state. We can't afford any more arrogance from the Congress leadership. If the BJP wins again the main guilty party will be the Congress. Not that the Congress party can be fully trusted with the saving and preservation of Goa but they are certainly better than the ruthless BJP.
