With growing criticism of BJP governance, the BJP/RSS leadership have in their arsenal controversial nationalistic/religious issues to divide voters and retain power. The latest is the FCRA move by the BJP to divert people's attention and come up with excuses for their failures, high level corruption and mis-governance. Rather than introspecting why people are getting unhappy, the egoistic BJP leaders are instead looking for such excuses, manipulating or blocking social media and trying to malign and threaten those who are protesting. All the latter will facilitate the quicker end to the BJP era.
