The job of the government is to improve the facilities in schools and colleges. It is to ensure that the standard of education is top notch. The government must create an environment which attracts the best teachers to lend their faculties and have enough teachers in the classes and a healthy teacher/student ratio. It must make sure that students are prepared for competitive exams by their school/college education itself. It is not to start "coaching classes". They had earlier branded coaching class operators as the 'education mafia'. Kids go to coaching classes because they find the education in schools 'not good enough' for their future. But then again why do we even expect someone who knows nothing about education to actually improve the education system ; it would work against him. The joke is on us but things would drastically change here onwards, Gen Z and Gen Alfa have sounded the bugle of change, 'enough is enough'. Onward march kids, may the force be with you.
