The Independence Struggle does not belong to them, they did not lay their lives down for it. Sardar Vallabhai Patel does not belong to them, he banned them. The National Flag does not belong to them, they never recognised it. Vande Mataram does not belong to them, they never sang it. Yet now they want to lay claim to all of it. On the other hand... The British were their lords and masters, they were paid by them. But now they disown them. Godse belonged to them, but they disowned him. See how they scramble in the present stuck between being who they really are and disowning themselves. Stuck between bowing to Gandhi and idolising his killer Godse too. Stuck between claiming a legacy that is not theirs, while trying to advance their true legacy of hate and discrimination. What a pathetic lot. Unable to say proudly who they really are once for all, because clearly it is nothing to be proud of. Always playing hide and seek with the truth and having to lurk in the shadows to cover up their darkness. Beware of the Sanghis.
