Dalgado Konknni Akademi (DKA) is set to organize its annual “Konknni Borovpianchem Sommelon” (Konkani Writers Conference) on Sunday, 18th Novembor, 2018 at the Conference Hall of Ravindra Bhovon Margao. The day-long conference will commence at 9.30 a.m.
Senior Konkani writer Isidore Dantas will grace the function as chief guest. The first session of the event focuses on topic ‘Contribution of the youth is essential to the development of Konkani Dr Cosma Fernandes, Professor of MES College will present the paper on the subject. The Session will be moderated by Daniel F D’Souza.
The second session, ‘Challenges before the Konkani writers, will be held in the afternoon and Marcos Gonsalves, writer and journalist will present the paper. This session will be moderated by Ex-President of DKA Premanand Loltlikar. Tomazinho Cardozo, President of DKA will preside over the inaugural as well as the concluding functions.
