A colossal comedy cometh

A colossal comedy cometh
Captured by : PG1. DC

We’ve this plot before “ A huge monster is terrorizing an Asian city. Of course we have. We’ve already seen movies like Godzilla and Pacific Rim where monsters wreak untold havoc on major cities around the world. Imagine buildings breaking in two or twenty, people running helter skelter screaming for their lives, a mandatory shot of a child crying out loud searching for her mother, cars exploding and a bunch of brave souls trying to destroy the monster. Familiar right? Now imagine this, what if you were somehow able to control those monsters with your every move? That seems to be the premise of Nacho Vigalondo’s Colossal. Here, Anne Hathaway is, like everyone else around her, terrified by the rise of a huge monster causing destruction. That is, until she finds out she can control it. This could be one of the best things to come out of Hollywood since we found out Donald Trump was becoming president. What starts off as a scary but clichéd monster flick is in fact one crazy comedy starring Anne Hathaway and a host of other great comic actors. Well, we haven’t really seen Hathaway do comedy now, have we? But it sure will make for an interesting watch. A walk for hardly four minutes leads to muck filled fields, in the distance a slim figure rides atop a strange vehicle, with a bunch of enthusiastic villagers standing around. “There…
