Not everything is as it seems. No really, we’re telling you think from past experience, especially when you shop online. But online shopping is not what this next trailer is about, although tech does certainly play a part in it. Tom Hanks plays a man who runs The Circle. What is The Circle? It would appear to be a conglomerate, like Facebook, but perhaps with more far reaching abilities and consequences. The Circle is apparently a family, which takes care of their own, a fact that Emma Watson finds out when she joins the company. She’s made to feel at home, they have lots of parties, but apparently get a bit upset when she doesn’t participate. They bring her parents on to the company health plan, and things are going good for Watson. But then, she realizes one thing. Repeat after us “ “Nothing is as good as it seems.” We told you, remember? In not so many words, but we did! There are cameras everywhere. On her desk, in other places (we assume since they don’t exactly tell us where in the trailer). We have one question, if the company we work for puts cameras in the toilet, isn’t that just crappy?
