Gustav Music Classes, Vasco held its first musical concert at the mini theater, Ravindra Bhavan, Baina, recently
Gustav who has been teaching violin, guitar, keyboard, pipe instruments and drums for the last several got all his past and present students together for the first time and gave them a platform to perform and showcase all that they'd learnt.
Around forty students currently studying with him and five past students (now performing in different musical forums) participated in the two hour long concert which kept the spectators and the invitees completely mesmerized.
The chief guest, Elvis Gomes, director of Municipal Administration and I.G of Prisons and the guest of honour, Shekar Ramchandra Khadapkar, chairman of Ravindra Bhavan, Baina Vasco were so captivated with the music presented by the students, that they also displayed their musical cords and sang for the audience and the students. While Gomes urged the students and the parents not to stop the music classes half way, Khadapkar informed that shortly Ravindra Bhavan, Baina will start western music classes for the benefit of locals and budding artists.
