Actor Akshay Kumar's bodyguard recently punched a fan for trying to get a selfie with the actor. Although the actor is usually very welcoming towards his fans, the punch was delivered on the cheek even before the actor could turn back to look at his fan. Speaking up on the issue, the actor
stated that he had given his bodyguard strict instructions to never do such a thing again. “What happened that day was unfortunate and uncalled for. I was at the airport and I heard a commotion which made me turn around, I didn't notice anything wrong so I walked on. It was later brought to my notice that my bodyguard had punched a fan. I have reprimanded him and given him a strict warning for the same. My sincere apology to the fan who was hurt,” he said.
