Foibles means shortcomings, in case you’re wondering. Now that we got it out of the way, let’s also remind everyone who was so happy when Tom Hiddlestone and Taylor Swift broke up that Tom doesn’t know you exist and you’re never getting a chance to have a relationship with him. We need to be clear on a few things. Yes, celebrities live in the public eye. Almost everything they do is to get the public to love them. If they manage that, then they have an audience who will watch their movies or television serials, cheer for them at matches wearing a shirt with their name and/or number on it. That’s what matters to celebrities and their companies that they endorse.
If Beckham was an evil man, no one would be going out and buying Calvin Kleins. Ronaldo sells shoes and other apparel. He still has one of the highest selling shirts out there at the moment. Usain Bolt posters adorn the walls of Puma stores everywhere. These are just sports personalities. Even celebs like Brad Pitt, Shah Rukh Khan and others have brands that they endorse. Then there are the movies and series. You have to be in the public eye and not be seeing breaking cameras or punching someone.
So, how does it work? Do celebs do this because the public needs to see them being nice out in public, or does the public get carried away with these PR stunts and photo-ops? Are the PR people at fault here? Should celeb's private lives also be open to scrutiny? Or should we get back to those better things that we need to do?

Besides being a complete waste of time, I think it's sad that people think they have a right to know every single detail about the lives of celebrities. It's really none of our business! A breakup or a divorce is hard enough. There is absolutely no need for all that information to be all over tabloids and the Internet. Also, why talk about something that has no effect of your life at all, especially when we can be talking about things that we can all be a part of, like Coldplay performing in India soon.

Being a girl, it's a little surprising that Brangelina for me, has always been overhyped. I can live among a celebrity and not know the difference so a make or break in their relationships would be nothing short of normal. However who wouldn't love a bit of overrated gossip to accompany that morning coffee or an afternoon conversation over lunch with friends. Apart from that, I'd be happy to learn from my own mistakes and get on with life, love and being who I am.
