The winners were felicitated with a cash prize of Rs 75000, while the runners-up were felicitated with a cash prize of Rs 35,000.
The Goa round of the 16th edition of the Tata Crucible Campus Quiz, a national level quiz competition was held at BITS Pilani, K K Birla Goa Campus recently.
The quiz kicked off with a quick preliminary written round that saw two teams from BITS Pilani Goa Campus become a part of the top six teams for the on-stage final, out of 114 teams.
The top six also included teams from NIT Goa, St Xavier’s College and 2 teams Goa Institute of Management.
The audience was enthralled by an entertaining 45 minute final hosted by quizmaster Giri ‘Pickbrain’ Balasubramaniam that saw Lucky Kaul and Shiv Kumar defend the title they had won at the very same auditorium a year ago.
The NIT Goa team, who were former national finalists finished runners up after a valiant battle. BITS Goa shall now represent Goa at the Western Zonal Final to be held in Mumbai.
