After Kim Kardashian West claimed that that Taylor Swift did infact give consent to her husband's recent controversial track Famous, the reality star has posted a snapchat video which actually shows the rapper calling up Taylor to run the lyrics of the song past her. The video shows that Taylor gave her consent and even thanked the rapper for bringing the controversial line to her before recording it. "I mean it's like a compliment kind of," she is heard telling Kanye, adding that if we was asked by the press about it during The Grammys red carpet, she would say "joke's on you guys, we're fine." However, the singer later went on to use her Album of the Year acceptance speech to respond to the lyrics and said, "I want to say to all the young women out there...there will be people along the way who will try to undercut your success." Taylor Swift has posted a note to Instagram, saying that she didn't know she was being recorded, she never heard the finished song before it was released, and that she did not approve of being called "that b****."

Pop singer Selena Gomez who is part of Taylor Swift's girl squad has come to the rescue of her close friend as she tweeted There are more important things to talk about...why can't people use their voice for something that f***ing matters? Meanwhile Chloe Grace Moretz who has her own issues with Kim Kardashian also chose the occasion to vent out her frustration. “ Stop wasting your voice on something so petulant and unimportant,” she tweeted. “ Everyone in this industry needs to get their heads out of a hole and look around and realise what's ACTUALLY happened in the REAL world,”
