"He should have good pronunciation and presentation skills too .The comperer is an important person and the success of any programme depends largely on the effective compering.The comperer should know the purpose of organizing the programme , the information of about the speakers and ability to interact with the audience if required," said Rane.
He was speaking at Porvorim at the compering workshop organized by the Directorate of Official Languages for the teachers and the government staff of Bardez taluka in the conference hall of SCERT.
Dr.Ajay Vaidh stated that the compering is a technique which if learnt the comperer can do the compering effectively.
"Nowadays compering has become source of earning income too during spare time. Hence the participants should take benefit of this workshop and be a good professional comperer," said Vaidh.
The Assistant Director of Directorate of Official Languages Anil Sawant mentioned that the purpose of the organizing this workshop is to train the teachers and the government staff to do the compering of their departmental programmes. These workshops will be conducted in all the talukas of the state said Sawant.
Earlier, Amarsen Rane lighted the traditional lamp. Suvarna Naik compered the programme and Abhishek Parab proposed vote of thanks.

The Additional Secretary of General Administration Department Amarsen Rane stated that compering is an art and the comperer besides good general knowledge should posses sweet and clear voice and command over languages.
