The Women’s Cell of Don Bosco College celebrated International Women’s Day by inviting ex-Boscoite women achievers to a felicitation ceremony held in the college. To commemorate the occasion young entrepreneurs Manasi Govenkar and Komal Khaparde, writer Annalie Gracias and sportsperson Sheral D’Mello were present.
While the Principal acknowledged the success of the invited achievers and congratulated them for being beacons of inspiration, motivation and encouragement for many youngsters, the Manager, Fr. Joaquim Lobo commented on all the dedication, hard-work and passion that they put into their daily jobs which make them excel at what they do. Stressing on the importance of values, he urged the audience to inculcate good virtues which will help them to be successful in whatever they do. The occasion ended on an enlightening note that saw many students interacting with the awardees and taking life lessons back with them.
