Ellen Degeneres is always up to no good, but her simple yet affable brand of fun is infectious. She has crazy games, invites not just celebs but even lay people over for a chat and makes a great show out of it. She also shoots a few funny segments now and then. One such segment was when she takes Britney Spears to a local mall, so they can flaunt their celebrity status and “do anything”. There’s a bit of satire in there, perhaps even a slap in the face of other celebs who take their status for granted. So Ellen and Britney go to the mall, they play with a punching bag in full view of mall clientele. They have some free icecream at Ben and Jerry’s, where Ellen tells the girl behind the counter that Britney has more money than both Ben and Jerry put together. All this happens just after Britney apparently gets a 100 percent discount at Hugo Boss. One of the funniest moments of the show is when Ellen pretends to be a caged animal and growls at a lady taking a pic from outside a store.
