Bengal Goa Folk Mela, a 12 days festival organised by Banglanatak dot come was held for the first time in Goa showcasing 14 traditional folk forms from different parts of Goa. The festival was not just a platform for Bengali arts and culture but also provided artists from the remotest parts of Goa to also perform for the first time outside their village hamlets.
